When Apple is the right answer
If your Mac is still under AppleCare, or the fault is covered by an Apple recall or service programme, go to Apple first, it is free there. And on M1, M2 and later, the storage is soldered to the board, so I cannot upgrade the SSD, only repair or recover it. I will always tell you when Apple or a replacement is the smarter money.

Is it worth repairing an older MacBook?
Often yes, a battery or screen on a 5 to 7 year old MacBook can give it years more life for a fraction of a new one. I will show you the maths honestly before you decide.
Can you upgrade the SSD on an M1 or M2 MacBook?
No, on Apple Silicon the storage is soldered to the logic board. I can repair the board or recover the data, but not swap the SSD. On older Intel MacBooks, upgrades are possible.
Do you use original Apple parts?
I use original where it is available and grade-A compatible otherwise, and I always tell you which and price both so you choose.
