Laptop repair prices in Singapore 2026: what's fair
Real numbers, so you know a fair quote from a bad one before you walk in.
In Singapore in 2026, expect roughly $150 to $395 for a laptop screen, $80 to $255 for a battery, $100 to $350 for a keyboard, $80 to $160 for an SSD upgrade with the drive included, and $180 to $450 for board-level work. Free diagnosis is standard. Anything far outside these bands deserves a second opinion.
What moves the price
Panel type is the biggest one: a standard 1080p screen is cheap, a touch, OLED or high-refresh gaming panel costs more. Brand and model matter, some parts are simply dearer to source. Whether you want an original or a grade-A compatible part changes the price, and I always quote both. Urgency can add a little if I need to rush-order a part. None of that should ever be a surprise: you get the number before I start.

A quote with no diagnosis, a deposit demanded before anyone has looked at the machine, a price that changes once your laptop is already opened, or no warranty offered at all. A suspiciously cheap panel often means a lower-grade part that fails in months. Fair beats cheap every time.
